The CDS DURM Mentorship Program provides Mentees with shadowing and experiential learning opportunities, interacting with positive role models, developing communication skills, and acquiring insights into dermatology and its subspecialities. Additional topics in Mentor Clinics and informal Near-Peer Advisor Sessions include social determinants of health; health equity and advocacy; underrepresentation of pathology for dark skin; diagnosing and treating skin diseases with patients of color and patients who identify as LGBTQ; and career strategies and best practices for applying for postgraduate opportunities.

We are excited to host this event and recognize those involved in our second year of the CDS DURM Mentorship Program, and hope you will attend!
