The purpose of the Chicago Dermatological Society is to educate its members and guests (medical residents and students) in dermatology and its subspecialties, and to promote:

• Excellence in patient care
• Adherence to a high level of ethical conduct and professionalism
• Dermatology related research
• A spirit of community among its members
• Public interest relating to dermatology

The CDS website is intended to be a resource to the Chicago dermatological community, and to celebrate the accomplishments of our members over the years. In addition to information about the regular CDS clinical conferences, the site also provides information and videos concerning the rich history of dermatology in Chicago, including the pioneers of the profession.
